Please pray for Gracia Burnham - that she might know the Comfort of Christ as she recuperates from her hostage ordeal in the Philippines, during which her beloved husband Martin died a martyr for Christ.

Wayne and Debi (Harvey) Harrison, daughter of Bill and Hazel Harvey, are now serving in Missions with Operation Mobilization in Tyrone, GA. Wayne is recruiting missionaries and helping to provide the necessary training to equip them for ministry.

ChurchOnTheHill will be providing support for Debi and Wayne and their daughter Brooke, by participating in a Guest card program at Meijer. A percentage of what you spend goes to support the Harrisons. Your regular expenditures for groceries, prescriptions , gasoline etc. all count! But first you must sign-up ! I praise God for His faithfulness through those who have given to Faith Promise.

If you are not already giving to "Faith Promise" and you want to find out more, please look at the Missions board at church. Photographs and letters from our missionaries are posted. You may wish to ask questions of Dorothy Elliott or Fran Ulmer. Please remember that Faith Promise gifts are an offering to God, beyond your regular tithe to the church.

Our Faith Promise program raises funds to redeem annual pledges made to designated missionaries. Our congregation, after praying, covenants with God to give a specific amount to the program ~ not knowing from whence the money will come, but trusting god to provide it.

In addition to the above program the church undertakes numerous projects to facilitate the work done by national and foreign missions, orphanages, charities, and local service organizations.

The "Women for Missions" group composed of many of the church's senior ladies, aged 70 through 90, holds many fund-raising events to fund a multitude of evangelistic endeavors which are dear to their hearts.

Youth with a Mission is an international movement of Christians working to help make a difference in a needy world. Founded in 1960, it is now one of the largest interdenominational and international Christian ministries, with about 12,000 volunteer staff (and thousands more affiliated workers) based in over 800 locations in over 135 countries.

In addition, tens of thousands more people from scores of nations are involved on a short-term basis each year. Coming from many different backgrounds and working in a wide range of situations, YWAMers are united in their desire to be part of changing people's lives for the better. They have responded to the "Great Commission"--Jesus' command to His disciples to go into the entire world and tell the Good News.

They believe the gospel of Jesus is not just about words, but also actions. So they share their faith through many different kinds of practical help--from agricultural training to running medical clinics--as well as telling about the Christian beliefs that inspire their actions.
